Three men, two Lithuanian nationals and a Somali-Swedish dual national, were convicted of rape after luring a 14-year-old girl using the social media app Snapchat.
Somali-Swedish national Abukar Ahmed Mohamed, 19, is said to have met the teen on Snapchat and took payment from 36-year-old Mindaugas Siaulys in order to have sex with the young girl, Nyheter Idag reports.
The teen was picked up in a car by the two men along with 56-year-old Aleksandras Makéjévas, and driven to a residential building despite having been told that they were going to the centre of the city of Borlänge.
When they arrived, the Lithuanian paid the money to the 19-year-old and then raped the girl.

A court found all three guilty of offences with the 36-year-old being sentenced to a short five years in prison followed by deportation for drug offences and rape of a minor. His fellow Lithuanian was sentenced to just three months, for aiding the illegal purchase of sex.
The Somali-Swedish national was found guilty of human trafficking, assisting in the rape of a minor, drug charges, and fraud but handed only a four-year prison sentence, along with a fine of 107,000 Swedish krona (£14,722/$17,777).
The case is just the latest to involve migrants raping young women in Sweden this year. In June, a 17-year-old was accused of raping a young underage girl and claimed it had not been a crime and no-one had told him the act was illegal since he had arrived in Sweden.

That same month, a group of seven Afghan migrants and a Swedish citizen were also arrested in connection with a rape case that occurred in Östersund. One of the men, an Afghan national, was said to have worked for a charity promoting migrant integration.
Earlier this year, Mats Löfving, head of the police’s national operational department, Noa, announced that the country would be hiring hundreds of new police officers to tackle the growing trend of sexual violence against children and other vulnerable people.
